Optician, Anthony Okenabirhie spotted a swelling of her optic nerve, situated on the retina and recommended that she seek an expert opinion. Faye attended the National Hospital for Neurology and Neuro Science in London where an examination revealed the tumour attached to a cyst.

 

Specialists, who removed the growth on April 23rd said; ‘If it hadn’t been caught in time, it would caused a brain damage or even death. Faye said; ‘people need to be made aware of the importance of eye tests. I must be the luckiest girl in the world!’
